Eco Friendly Dentist

According to the March 2011 issue of Spirit magazine, each of us generates an astonishing average of 5 pounds of waste per day.  That’s 2 pounds more than in 1960, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Fortunately, more than 3 out of four Americans recycle, and most of us use eco-friendly products like LED light bulbs to reduce energy use at home, according to a 2010 Gallup poll.  Nearly 75% of office paper is recycled.

The Hills Dental Spa is doing our part.  By utilizing digital dental technology, we are generating 60% less paper than a traditional office using paper patient charting.  Even our digital x-rays are better for the environment because they don’t use the chemicals that end up in our landfills.  Technology not only makes appointment more efficient for each patient, but it helps our environment.
